Nathan Progar
Nathan Progar is a CEMS Technical Engineer/ Air Emissions Scientist for Avogadro Environmental Corporation. As a scientist in the Testing Division, Mr. Progar works as part of the various field teams, and utilizes USEPA test methods enumerated in 40 CFR 60 and 40 CFR 75 to complete client diagnostic and compliance emissions test programs.
In this role, he participates in field events involving sampling for particulate matter, PM 10, metals, hydrogen chloride, hexavalent chromium, ammonia, acetaldehyde, and VOC. Mr. Progar also ensures that quality samples and data are acquired from a job site in an unbiased and accurate manner. He also prepares packing lists, stages, cleans, and repairs equipment for upcoming test projects.
His formal training includes a Bachelor of Arts in Earth Sciences from Millersville State University in Millersville, PA. He has current registration in Hazard Communications (HAZCOM) and CPR/First Aid Certification.
